Xyris fimbriata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Xyridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New Jersey hingga Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fringed yelloweyed grass. Nama ilmiah Xyris fimbriata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Stephen Elliott pada tahun 1816.
