Xyris nivea merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Xyridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Angola. Nama ilmiah Xyris nivea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Welwitsch pada tahun 1899.
