Xyris schizachne merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Xyridaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia timur hingga Brazil dan Argentina timur laut. Nama ilmiah Xyris schizachne pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1841.
