Zannichellia palustris subsp. major merupakan tumbuhan semak dari famili Potamogetonaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air (hidrofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Zannichellia palustris subsp. major pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Johan Hartman pada tahun 1964.
