Zea nicaraguensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Nikaragua barat. Nama ilmiah Zea nicaraguensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hugh Hellmut Iltis pada tahun 2000.
