Zingiber odoriferum var. borneense adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Zingiberaceae (suku temu-temuan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Zingiber odoriferum var. borneense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Theodoric Valeton pada tahun 1918.
