Zinnia haageana merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Zinnia haageana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard August von Regel pada tahun 1861.
