Zornia leptophylla merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan horsekiller. Nama ilmiah Zornia leptophylla diperkenalkan oleh George Bentham pada tahun 1940.
