Zygia engelsingii merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Zygia engelsingii diperkenalkan oleh Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1940.
