Stylosanthes erecta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah kawasan tropis Afrika, Madagaskar. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan nigerian stylo. Nama ilmiah Stylosanthes erecta diperkenalkan oleh Ambroise Marie François Joseph Palisot de Beauvois pada tahun 1811.
