Arctostaphylos rudis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California barat (San Luis Obispo County barat daya, Santa Barbara County barat laut). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shagbark manzanita. Nama ilmiah Arctostaphylos rudis diperkenalkan oleh Willis Linn Jepson pada tahun 1938.
