Betula platyphylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Betulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan asian white birch. Nama ilmiah Betula platyphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Vladimir Nikolayevich Sukachev (Nikolajevich Sukaczev) pada tahun 1911. Nama spesies ini merupakan sinonim dari Betula pendula subsp. mandshurica.
