Caesalpinia bonduc (L.) Roxb.

Kaniker adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Caesalpinia bonduc diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Roxburgh pada tahun 1824. Nama spesies ini merupakan sinonim dari Guilandina bonduc.
