Euphorbia lactea merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Sri Lanka. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan mottled spurge. Nama ilmiah Euphorbia lactea diperkenalkan oleh Adrian Hardy Haworth pada tahun 1812.
