PIEDMONT AZALEA
Rhododendron flammeum (Michx.) Sarg.

Rhododendron flammeum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari South Carolina bagian selatan hingga Georgia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan piedmont azalea. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron flammeum diperkenalkan oleh André Michaux pada tahun 1917.
