Abelmoschus manihot subsp. tetraphyllus merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan hingga Queensland timur laut. Nama ilmiah Abelmoschus manihot subsp. tetraphyllus diperkenalkan oleh William Roxburgh pada tahun 1966.
