Achimenes dulcis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Gesneriaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (México State, Michoacán, Guerrero). Nama ilmiah Achimenes dulcis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Conrad Vernon Morton pada tahun 1938.
