Aetheolaena otophora var. microcephala merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Kolombia hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Aetheolaena otophora var. microcephala diperkenalkan oleh Georg Hans Emmo Wolfgang Hieronymus pada tahun 1997.
