Agave acicularis merupakan tumbuhan sukulen dari famili Asparagaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Kuba tengah. Nama ilmiah Agave acicularis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Trelease pada tahun 1913.
