Agave filifera merupakan tumbuhan sukulen dari famili Asparagaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Querétaro hingga México State). Nama ilmiah Agave filifera pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Dyck pada tahun 1834.
