Agave maculata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asparagaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk akar rimpang. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas selatan hingga Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Agave maculata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard August von Regel pada tahun 1856.
