Agave obscura adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen dari famili Asparagaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (San Luis Potosà hingga Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Agave obscura diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Julius Wilhelm Schiede pada tahun 1844.
