Agave stricta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan sukulen dari famili Asparagaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Oaxaca barat laut, Puebla barat daya). Nama ilmiah Agave stricta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph zu Salm-Reifferscheidt-Dyck pada tahun 1859.
