Agrostis pallescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Selandia Baru (termasuk Pulau Stewart). Nama ilmiah Agrostis pallescens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Frederic Cheeseman pada tahun 1921.
