Allium sphaerocephalon var. aegaeum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Amaryllidaceae (suku bakung-bakungan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membetuk umbi lapis. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Aegea. Nama ilmiah Allium sphaerocephalon var. aegaeum diperkenalkan oleh Theodor Heinrich Hermann von Heldreich pada tahun 1932.
