Alocasia atropurpurea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Nansei-shoto (Okinawa-jima, Iriomote-jima), Filipina (Luzon utara). Nama ilmiah Alocasia atropurpurea diperkenalkan oleh Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1920.
