Alternanthera halimifolia (Lam.) Standl. ex Pittier

Alternanthera halimifolia merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Alternanthera halimifolia diperkenalkan oleh Jean-Baptiste Lamarck pada tahun 1926.
