Amaranthus graecizans subsp. thellungianus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga China dan Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Amaranthus graecizans subsp. thellungianus diperkenalkan oleh Sergei Arsenjevic Nevski pada tahun 1972.
