Amellus strigosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Amellus strigosus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1831.
