Aneilema spekei merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga Zambia. Nama ilmiah Aneilema spekei diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1901.
