Arctostaphylos pringlei subsp. drupacea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal, China (Sichuan, Guizhou dan Yunnan), hingga Indo-China utara. Nama ilmiah Arctostaphylos pringlei subsp. drupacea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Christopher Parry pada tahun 1972.
