Artemisia halophila merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Artemisia halophila mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1930.
