Astragalus caspicus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye hingga Iran utara dan barat. Nama ilmiah Astragalus caspicus diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich August Marschall von Bieberstein pada tahun 1808.
