Atriplex coronata var. notatior merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California (San Jacinto Valley). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan crownscale. Nama ilmiah Atriplex coronata var. notatior pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Willis Linn Jepson pada tahun 1914.
