Atriplex glauca merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Portugal selatan hingga Spanyol. Nama ilmiah Atriplex glauca diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carolus Linnaeus pada tahun 1763.
