Atriplex heterosperma merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa timur. Nama ilmiah Atriplex heterosperma pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Andrejewitsch von Bunge pada tahun 1852.
