Atriplex longipes merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa utara dan barat laut. Nama ilmiah Atriplex longipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Salomon Thomas Nicolai Drejer pada tahun 1838.
