Atriplex nitrophiloides merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Argentina barat laut. Nama ilmiah Atriplex nitrophiloides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alberto Soriano pada tahun 1984.
