Atriplex saccaria merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sack saltbush. Nama ilmiah Atriplex saccaria diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sereno Watson pada tahun 1874.
