Atriplex spongiosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun atau semusim dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Australia Tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan pop saltbush. Nama ilmiah Atriplex spongiosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1858.
