Austrocritonia velutina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Brazil (Minas Gerais hingga Paraná). Nama ilmiah Austrocritonia velutina diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Gardner pada tahun 1975.
