Bahia schaffneri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan schaffner's bahia. Nama ilmiah Bahia schaffneri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Sereno Watson pada tahun 1891. Nama spesies ini merupakan sinonim dari Picradeniopsis schaffneri.
