Begonia macra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Begoniaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Venezuela. Nama ilmiah Begonia macra diperkenalkan oleh Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1859.
