Begonia plumieri merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hispaniola. Nama ilmiah Begonia plumieri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1864.
