Begonia pruinata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kosta Rika. Nama ilmiah Begonia pruinata diperkenalkan oleh Johann Friedrich Klotzsch pada tahun 1864.
