Begonia purdieana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jamaika. Nama ilmiah Begonia purdieana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1859.
