Begonia scabrida merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Begoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Venezuela utara. Nama ilmiah Begonia scabrida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alphonse Louis Pierre Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1864.
