Bursera excelsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Burseraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Bursera excelsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1883.
