Cartonema tenue Caruel

Cartonema tenue adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Northern Territory utara hingga Queensland Utara. Nama ilmiah Cartonema tenue diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Théodore Caruel pada tahun 1879.
