Cassiope hypnoides merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Subarctic hingga Amerika Serikat timur laut. Nama ilmiah Cassiope hypnoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama David Don pada tahun 1834.
